Care & Maintenance of Your Thermal Spa Cover
WHILE IN USE
At least once per month, clean the cover with a mild solution of warm water and liquid detergent. Use a soft bristle brush if necessary. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or stiff brush. Rinse thoroughly. Do not use chlorine based chemicals for cleaning the cover.
Always clear snow, ice, leaves, or any debris that may accumulate on the cover.
Do not jerk or pull the cover with excessive force, or try to lift it with any load on top.
Do not lift or carry by the handles, they are for opening and closing only.
If foam inserts become damaged or water logged, replace them to avoid further damage to the cover. Pooling of water can cause unhealthy bacteria, mold or fungus growth.
SNOW SUPPORT
In case of a heavy snow fall, try to sweep the snow off the cover (DO NOT STAND ON THE COVER TO DO THIS) use a brush with an extendable handle. This will prevent the snow from freezing into ice. Having a large ice load on a cover may cause the foam to prematurely warp.
